Foundations of yoga is a class designed to teach the basics of the physical yoga practice- from the ground up. Once one learns the foundational poses, he or she will gain a greater awareness of his or her own body. Our bodies are designed to move; and designed to move in a precise, artful way.

This class is great for the brand-new beginner, those restarting their practice after a long break, and also for anyone whom is new to practicing alignment-based yoga. Foundations of yoga emphasizes standing poses and key principles of alignment to increase strength, balance, stamina and flexibility. Traditional breathing techniques are celebrated, and restorative yoga poses are incorporated to aide in the release of tension and reduction of stress.

Studio B offers three ‘Foundations of Yoga’ classes each week. Our teachers are passionate advocates for self-awareness and exploration through movement. We look forward to the opportunity to guide you through the process of growing from the ground up.
